A satisfied customer from the USA:
I have recieved my lure machine, and it is exactly what i wanted.

It can go slow and controlled for training puppies, or get out in front of grade A racing whippets.

I can set up and practice my dogs completely by myself finally- i am very impressed, and the customer service is great too.

Thanks Thilo!

The next point ist the reel: 550yrds - 1100yrds line should be reeled in very thoroughly - like yarn, this guarants that you can it lay out every time without any problems or line mishmash. I've seen a lot of corious attemps to prevent line mishmash but only one that works.

We never had this problem because we started the development of our coursing machine looking for the best way to reel a long line in. We found the solution by using a fishing reel, used for heavy and strong fishes. If this reel is able to pull haevy fishes it should be able to pull our small lure too. But we had to modify it for our purpose.

Now let us talk about the line. How strong must a line be to pull a lure with a weight of 4oz? A lure that hits with a speed of more than 45mph against a pulley. We used strong lines and they tear up and we used weaker lines they didn't tear. Why? The weaker lines we used were able to expand like a elastic band. So a short strong hit couldn't tear it. The stronger lines are not able to expand and tear up. I have seen a lot of coursings and they use really strong lines much bigger than ours but they also tear up, i guess we were the first who thought about this problem and found the solution.

For long distances I prefer a combination of both lines, because with a line that doesn't expand you can control the speed of the lure more precise.

The health of your dog is our most important thing! Fishing lines are very thin but the don't cut as fast as other lines normally used in coursings. Why? Look at the surface of a fishing line it is very smooth, so it can glide over the skin. Other lines have a rough skin and if they glide over your skin or the skin of your dog the act as a saw and addionally cause combustions.
